Rabbi Shmuel Elihau, Chief Rabbi of Tzfat, called today once again for the Jews of the Diaspora to hurry home to Israel. He said the Jews of Germany thought they had finally attained acceptance and learned that they were wrong. Likewise with the Jews of Soviet Russia. And now the Jews of America, he said, are learning they were wrong. It is difficult, he noted, for a person to admit such a lifetime mistake, but that tshuva is always possible
