A neighbor was giving me a lift and he was asking what I did. I said I strive to be an Oved HaShem, a servant of GD. He said we should all do that but how do you make a living? I said I pray to GD like everyone else.
What I do:
Fact is that I am in the Chesed business. For the past 11 years, here in Israel I have worked as a Carer of Elderly, first part time and for the past 7 years more-than full time.
In addition, I spend a lot of tim on my laptop sharing various Israel Chesed Opportunities. Connecting people with providers of the services they need, connecting with healthful options for Shmurah Matza (whole wheat, whole spelt and GF oat), Organic chicken and beef,lamb,goat, organic eggs, etc.
I have raised funds online for various needs: Hachnassas Kallah, Medical needs, Needy people, Ma’ot Chittim. Sponsors of Torah Letters or Passukim. Connections with IDF soldiers, etc.
The nature of caring for the elderly is that their situations change and I find that I am often looking for a new client. So I am always looking at the Job Postings on various online or email resources.

A number of years ago, I realized the I could help others make Parnassah here in Israel and share opportunities with those considering Aliyah by starting a Job Opportunities group on FB, Where I re-posted all kinds of Job Opps from all over Israel.
I started this group in December 2012 and have seen it grow to over 5600 members. Initially, I was the only one posting Job Opps to the group. B”H many employers have added their own opening and many members have shared opening at their employers or from their own job searches.
